    On March 6, FPT IS received notification that it won the bid to upgrade software for the Vietnam Mobile Telecom services (VMS) billing and liquidity center under phase six of the project to upgrade fraud detection software.

    FPT IS IT Infrastructure Center expert Le Viet Thanh gave a presentation on “Virtualization Infrastructure Management with the VMM System Center 2012” for the annual global Microsoft Technology Day 2012 at the Sofitel Plaza Hotel in Hanoi on March 14.
  • More foreign enterprises choose FPT.iHRP (26/04/2012)
    FPT IS signed a contract on March 7 with to provide the FPT.iHRP human resources and payroll management software for the Vietnam – Singapore industrial park (VSIP). VSIP will be the first industrial park to use this software.
  • Upgrading GDT systems (26/04/2012)
    On March 8, FPT IS won the bid to upgrade the architecture of the application systems for the General Department of Taxation (GDT) to facilitate transferring the existing taxes to the centralized processing model.
  • PIT application deployed in Ho Chi Minh City (26/04/2012)
    After being successfully piloted at five tax deparments in Hanoi, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Bac Ninh and Bac Giang, the PIT management application developed by FPT IS will be deployed at the remaining 57 provinces across the country in 2012. 
  • VietinBank ERP project to be finished soon (12/04/2012)
    The eighth deployment stage of the Vietinbank ERP project was completed and officially put into operation at 20 locations on April 5, increasing the number of locations on the ERP system to 144. The final stage of deployment is scheduled to be finished on April 10.
  • Preparing to deploy PIT applications nationwide (12/04/2012)
    FPT IS has transferred the personal income tax (PIT) management application at 70 tax offices in five provinces and cities, including Hanoi, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Bac Ninh and Bac Giang, to the new General Department of Taxation (GDT) hardware from April 7 to 8.
  • New driving licenses to be deployed nationwide (10/04/2012)
    In mid February, Da Nang and Bac Ninh became the first two localities in the country to pilot issuing new driving licenses based on applications built by FPT IS. The two localities have so far been successful with the acquisition, printing, issuance, and management of the driving licenses.
  • FPT IS becomes a Fujitsu Select Partner (27/03/2012)
    As of December 30, 2011, FPT IS officially became a Select Partner of the Japanese Fujitsu Company.
  • More global telecommunications contracts signed (27/03/2012)
    In February, FPT IS signed a number of telecommunications contracts with foreign customers worth billions of VND.
