Petrolimex ERP project begins UAT2 preparing for system "go-live"

The Petrolimex ERP project conducted the second phase of user acceptance testing (UAT2) in early December 2011, with the company's Area 2 in Ho Chi Minh City chosen as the unit to represent the whole industry in performing the UAT.
The UAT participants included Area 2 company staff and key staff from the Petrolimex Corporation, the B12 Petroleum Company and the Tay Nguyen North Petroleum Company.

"The UAT2 is the final, and very important, phase of UAT. In this phase, the project actually uses real data and performs UAT for all operations in the petroleum business system. Therefore, the data selection must be characterized and cover content from daily professional operations," said Ms Dam Thi Huyen, Petrolimex Deputy CEO and project director.
The project leaders in Hanoi also agreed to carry out the project "go-live" at the corporate office on January 1, 2012. The FPT project manager, Mr. Pham Thanh Tung, said "This is an important landmark for the project. The success of the "go-live" period at the corporate office will be the basis for the entire project's success when it is implemented on a large scale."
The first UAT was conducted from June 27 to August 24 in Hanoi.
