Seminar on MIT national database

FPT IS and the Center for Industry and Trade Information jointly held a seminar on organizing information systems and setting basic targets for the project to establish national databases for the industrial and trade economy at the head office of Ministry of Industry and Trade (MIT) on December 12.
The seminar was attended by MIT Deputy Minister Nguyen Nam Hai, the heads of all departments, agencies and centers under the MIT, and representatives from provincial Departments of Industry and Trade across the country, as well as representatives of press agencies and radio and television stations.
FPT Deputy Director of Telecommunications and Public Services Le Anh Tuan gave a presentation on "creating software for the national industrial and trading economy database," which introduced the national database interface, features and utilities deployed by the FPT IS project team.

Information systems, statistical indicators, and industrial targets, as well as exports, imports and management of the industry and trade sectors were also presented and discussed at the seminar.
