Vietinbank management information system completed

After one year of implementation, the FPT IS project team conducted a successful 'go live' on November 30, 2011, and completed the deployment of the management information system (MIS) for the Industrial and Commercial Bank of Vietnam (Vietinbank) on schedule.
The MIS reporting system consists of over 289 dashboards and 716 tables and charts covering all the bank's management and operations. The system ensures daily reports are provided before 9:00am to facilitate management and decision making.
During the system implementation, the FPT IS team researched new technologies, studied Vietinbank source data, analyzed the customer's requirements, and developed customized solutions for the MIS based on the new Oracle OBIEE technology. Vietinbank evaluated the project team very highly for their dedication, professionalism and responsibility.
The Vietinbank management information system project began in July 2010 and underwent three stages of testing prior to the 'go live' before the system was officially completed and handed over on December 25, 2011.
